My Year as an Intern

Some ups and downs at my field site has been overall. I never really had any downs moments in class but a few time was when a student wouldn't listen and kept being silly. Some ups was when the students would listen and follow along with me and the teacher kept me busy. Toward the end of my time at the field site was very sad. I really liked teaching with the kids and it makes me feel like becoming a teacher one day. My mentor has helped me a lot and made me feel real comfortable around the students. I learned how to become a good teacher as a cool teacher to the students. I wished I had more time to develop as being a teacher with the mentor and the students at my field site.

High School Teacher Creates New Educational App

This could be useful for my 1st grade class by creating an app, where I could get them into 3 to 4 groups and compete against each other. I haven't thought much about creating an app, because I never knew about this. I will be working on creating one for the class to get them involve with fun stuff and still learning at the same time.

The Ron Clark Story

In The Ron Clark Story I though that the best three rules were, We are a family, stay in a line, no talking while teaching talking. The reason why I chose these three is, because you need your class to trust each other like brothers and sisters and that is like a family. Staying in line will keep the students from getting lost or distracted and no talking while teacher is preaching, because that is just plain rude with no respect. The two rules that i will create for my future class is, love each other and respond with respect!

The Advantages of Technology in the Classroom

                                                     Advantages of Technology in the Classroom is becoming crucial in the now days.

Learning these technology in class today will help us prepare for life after high school because you will need it to write essay and you can find jobs, homes, cars, and etc. Some other advantage of using technology in the classroom that would help prepare students for the real world is filling out application of jobs and insurance. Also able to find resources of anything you're wanting to know.

My Involvement in TAFE

I've been involve with the Macy's Fundraise, FCCLA. I'm not exactly sure if I will come to this class (Education and Training) next year for my senior year. What I would like to change of what I done this year is be more involve in activities. If I do come next year I will want to be involve in more activities and sign up for more scholarships.

Who is Stacey Bess?

Stacey Bess Information

"Nobody Don't Love Nobody" is the story Stacey Bess. She teach kids kindergarden to 6th grade that has no home and a little hope. She had so much confident in herself that she was able to help the kids become better. A movie that inspired them is "Beyond the Blackboard" and gave Stacey the idea of "Nobody Don't Love Nobody."

Bullying in School

Bullying is when they push someone around and always bother them. Bullying gets people killed because it will make the person that being bullied not wanting to be around anymore and they'll commit suicide. There isn't much of bullying in BISD that I know of. I've been bullied once in 6th grade and now I wish I could just push that guy right back. Their should be a class for bullying people and bullied them, so they know what it's like.

Reflection on last semester

Last Semester was kind of tough for me because I started out not doing my work and I realize that it wasn't going to work. When I looked at this I was like "thank goodness I didn't have basketball during this time." I wouldn't be able to play my favorite sports which is basketball, that would of stink really bad.

This new Semester I want to achieve my goals which is turning in my homework on time, coming to school and be in class on time. Also be prepared for the Taks test, that way I can move on to my senior year and play Variety Basketball.

The Ideal Classroom

This will help the students focus more during work time, because they are comfortable and are able to work cause of relaxation. I think this new idea to the classroom is a great opportunity to see if the students will comprehen more. You need some cool things in class so the students won't be bored and then they won't pay attention to the teacher or whoever is talking.
